Teacher Toolbox: Librarian Edition

After seeing these online for far too long, I broke down and purchased a toolbox from Amazon. You can find the one I purchased here.

I spent some time scouring the internet to see how other people have their toolboxes set up. A lot of teachers had drawers devoted to things that I don’t use that often, so I decided to forgo putting things like hot glue gun sticks inside of my toolbox. I am contemplating purchasing an additional toolbox to store inside the library office with things that aren’t used as often. If I do, I would laminate the drawer labels and swap them out, as sometimes I have a lot of hot glue gun sticks and other times… not as many.

Here is the current set up that I have for the toolbox that is near my desk.

Teacher toolbox with labels.

I found the label set up on Teachers Pay Teachers (free!). I didn’t laminate yet since I’m not entirely committed to this set up. I will reprint in color and laminate if I find myself in love with this setup.

There are also some really cool themed labels that I might explore, depending on what I decide to do next year.

Do you have a teacher toolbox in your library? Any suggestions for how to improve my setup?
